The HID OMNIKEY® 5022 IP67 is a contactless smart card reader designed for secure authentication in cleanroom and hygiene-sensitive environments such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and industrial manufacturing.
It supports CCID and USB plug-and-play interfaces for simple integration with PCs, workstations, thin clients, and zero clients, without the need for additional drivers. The reader is FIDO2 and NFC compliant, enabling secure passwordless login and multi-factor authentication using existing employee credentials such as smart cards and mobile devices.
Built with an IP67-rated enclosure, it is dustproof, waterproof, and designed for frequent cleaning and disinfection, making it suitable for strict regulatory environments.
